Bending a foam part around a corner, applying a sponge rubber part to a rough surface, bonding a large sound deadening panel to a truck body are all applications for an unsupported adhesive. Unsupported adhesives allow the part to bend, or conform and is often easier for the assembler to use then a double coated adhesive tape. |
An unsupported adhesive is a coating of either rubber based or acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive on a release liner with no carrier film. CCT offers an extensive line of these products in both rubber and acrylic adhesive technologies. |
